We had a spectacular weather in Port Augusta for the June long weekend away.

Photos of cliffs, birding, trains and tracks, ruins, boats and coastal scenery were included in the “Oscars” competition which we have each year, searching fior the favourite photographs of the weekend.

Don Brooks makes the prizes from found objects, this year won by Ross Pollock, and Andrea Brooks.

They were gorgeous little echidnas carved from timber from the local area.
