ESCC WEEKEND IN MARION BAY 7-10 JUNE 2013
This spot proved to be a perfect base for exploring the Innes National Park, and the lower Yorke Peninsula, for our annual getaway.
We began with the usual Vintage Port challenge, won by Keith this year, but it was a close call!
Evening revels did not prevent the sturdy dawn risers from capturing the early light each day. The weather was kind to we twenty odd, after a grey day on Saturday, the sun came out for some beautiful late light for those lucky enough to be in the right place!
Food at the pub that night was fantastic, only matched by the standard of the Sunday night BBQ, with great camaraderie, and we raised a glass to those friends not able to be with us, due to sickness, or other feeble excuses like international travel!
Next year we travel to the south, with Kingston or Cape Jaffa in our sights, being keen to be near the coast in March.
